Approach

How Teasetab runs an assignment at an insurer or bank.

A decision-maker wants to know who is coming, what they will do and what it costs. This page sets that out: four commitments, four steps and what Teasetab deliberately does not do.

Four commitments you can check

You can test every commitment below in the first conversation. No promises on slides, but agreements on paper.

You get the person you talk to.

The consultant in the proposal is the consultant on the floor. You see the name in the proposal and talk to that consultant before the start, not only on day one. We run the intake and the selection ourselves, and you keep one point of contact at Teasetab.

Sector knowledge from day one.

Teasetab has worked in projects at Belgian insurers since 2014: life insurance, self-service, migrations and delivery planning across several workstreams. Nothing gets explained twice. Onboarding stays short and the work starts quickly.

See the cases

Honest scope, honest rate.

An assignment starts with a defined scope and a clear day rate, agreed up front and on paper. Extensions happen on results, not out of habit. If it is not a fit, you hear that straight away.

A small, strictly selected network.

Teasetab works with a small network of senior freelance consultants. Each of them has at least five years in banking or insurance projects. We only propose people we would deploy ourselves.

How the network is selected

From first call to follow-up

A fixed, short route. You always know where you stand and what you get from Teasetab.

  1. Intro call

A short conversation about context, role, timing and budget, with a Teasetab consultant and not with a salesperson. If it is not a fit, you hear that immediately.

  2. Proposal

You receive a concrete proposal: who is coming, what the scope is, which day rate applies and when the start can be. Procurement can work with that. No surprises afterwards.

  3. Start and onboarding

At the start the consultant maps stakeholders, documentation and planning. An early first report to the client follows soon after. So you know early whether the scope is right.

  4. Follow-up

Regular evaluation with the client, transparent timesheets and open reporting to the steering committee. Stopping or extending is your decision, based on results.

Direct or through a broker

Teasetab works the way your organisation buys. The agreements stay the same.

Directly with Teasetab

You contract with Teasetab BV. One contract, one invoice, one point of contact. The company details for procurement are on the contact page.

Company details for procurement

Through a broker or intermediary

If your organisation works with a broker or a preferred supplier, invoicing runs through that party. Teasetab asks for no exclusivity. The profile, the rate and the consultant stay the same.

Working with brokers

Continuity: replacement only with your agreement

A senior profile is not a bench. If the consultant is unavailable for a longer period, Teasetab works out a solution with you. A replacement only comes with your explicit agreement, never by default.

If the replacement comes from the network, the same selection applies as at the start. We run the intake ourselves and your point of contact at Teasetab does not change. The handover is documented, with the client involved.

If there is no suitable profile, Teasetab says so. Better an honest no than a wrong match.

What Teasetab does not do

Short and factual, so you know where you stand.

  • No junior bench. Teasetab does not place profiles that still have to learn the trade on your project.
  • No strategy on slides. Teasetab does not deliver advice without execution; whoever draws the plan helps to build it.
  • No compliance advice. Teasetab knows the regulatory context of projects, but gives no legal or compliance advice. For that you work with your own specialists.
  • No layers in between. No account manager between you and the consultant.
  • No assignments outside financial services. Insurers and banks in Belgium, and nothing else.

Frequently asked questions

Does Teasetab work on site or remotely?

Both, in consultation with the client. For a steering committee, a workshop or a go-live, being on site is the norm. Teasetab works across Belgium.

What if the proposed consultant is not available?

Then we propose one other consultant from the network: someone we know personally who has already worked at an insurer or bank. We run the intake ourselves and your point of contact stays the same. If nobody fits, you hear that straight away.

How is the day rate set?

Based on role, seniority and the duration of the assignment. The rate is in the proposal, up front. Through a broker, that broker's agreements apply.

Can I get references?

Yes, in a conversation. Client names are not on the site. Teasetab gives references after consulting the client concerned.

What about the notice period?

The notice period is in the proposal and in the contract, agreed up front. Stopping or extending is decided on results.

Want to know whether it fits?

A short call is enough to find out. You talk to a consultant, not to an account manager.
