What we do · Delivery lead / PMO

Delivery leads and PMO for insurers and banks.

A Teasetab delivery lead keeps several workstreams coherent. One plan, one report, dependencies visible early. So your steering committee decides on facts.

What the role delivers

A programme at an insurer or bank rarely consists of one project. Several workstreams share the same systems, the same people and the same release calendar. Without someone watching the whole, the dependencies sit scattered across separate files.

The delivery lead or PMO brings that together: one integrated plan, one source of truth for dependencies and capacity, one report for management and steering committee. Problems surface early, with a proposal attached.

The difference from an administrative PMO: a Teasetab delivery lead has led projects themselves. They know the difference between a red indicator and a real problem.

Typical assignments

  • Integrated IT delivery planning across several workstreams
  • Reporting for management and steering committee: progress, risks, decisions
  • Capacity and dependency management between teams and vendors
  • Release calendar and go-live coordination across projects
  • Setting up or strengthening a PMO for a multi-year programme
  • Replanning a programme that is missing its milestones
  • Preparing steering committees: agenda, decision points, presentations

How Teasetab fills this role

Teasetab fills this role with a senior delivery lead with at least five years in banking or insurance programmes. You see the name in the proposal and talk to the consultant before the start.

Every delivery lead we propose is known personally to Teasetab and has already worked at an insurer or bank. We run the intake and the selection ourselves and you keep one point of contact. Replacement only with your agreement.

What to expect in the first weeks

No long onboarding. The delivery lead starts with a fixed set of actions.

  1. Inventory

All workstreams, plans, vendors and reports mapped. What exists, who owns it, what is missing.

  2. One plan

An integrated plan with milestones and dependencies between the workstreams. Aligned with every project manager.

  3. First report

A factual status for management and steering committee: where the programme stands, where it is stuck, which decision is needed.

  4. Rhythm

A fixed cycle of planning, reporting and steering committee. Dependencies become visible in advance, not afterwards.

Mini-case: IT delivery planning across several workstreams

At a Belgian life insurer a Teasetab delivery lead brought several workstreams together in one integrated plan and report, and prepared the management and stakeholder presentations for the steering committee.

Result: a single source of truth for planning and dependencies. The steering committee decides on facts instead of assumptions. References are available in a conversation.

Frequently asked questions

How does the day rate work?

Teasetab works with a day rate agreed up front, depending on role and seniority. You pay for days worked, with transparent timesheets. Directly or through your broker.

How long does an assignment last?

A delivery lead usually works for the duration of a programme or one of its phases. A defined scope is put in writing up front, followed by regular evaluation. Stopping or extending is decided on results.

On site or hybrid?

Both. Steering committees and alignment with project managers often happen on site; planning and reporting can be hybrid. You agree the balance with Teasetab up front.

What if the consultant drops out or is not a fit?

Replacement happens only with your agreement. Teasetab then finds a consultant from the network with the same profile and takes care of the handover. If it is not a fit, we say so honestly.

Do I need a PMO officer or a delivery lead?

Either works. A PMO role focuses on planning, reporting and method. A delivery lead additionally takes responsibility for delivery across the workstreams. In the conversation we decide together which role you need.
