What we do · Project management

Project managers for insurers and banks.

A Teasetab project manager runs your project or workstream from intake to go-live. Planning, budget, risks, vendors and steering committee in one hand. Senior, in your team, no middle layer.

What the role delivers

At an insurer or bank a project rarely stands alone. It touches the policy system, customer service, the brokers and regulation. The project manager keeps that whole in hand and makes sure decisions do not stall.

In practice: a plan that holds, a budget that is tracked and risks that surface early. A steering committee that decides on facts. Vendors managed on agreements, not on goodwill.

Teasetab project managers already know the context: release plans, legacy systems, steering committees, business acceptance. Nothing gets explained twice.

Typical assignments

  • Migration of a policy, e-mail or document platform without interrupting service
  • Self-service for customers and brokers, integrated with the existing policy system
  • Channel renewal: customer portal, app or broker platform
  • Regulatory programme with an end date set by the supervisor
  • Replacement or phase-out of a legacy application
  • Workstream within a larger programme, reporting to programme management
  • Taking over a project that has stalled: scope, plan and steering committee realigned

How Teasetab fills this role

Teasetab fills this role with a senior project manager with at least five years in banking or insurance projects. You see the name in the proposal and talk to the consultant before the start.

Every project manager we propose is known personally to Teasetab and has already worked at an insurer or bank. We run the intake and the selection ourselves and you keep one point of contact. Replacement only with your agreement.

What to expect in the first weeks

No long onboarding. The project manager starts with a fixed set of actions.

  1. Stakeholders and scope mapped

Conversations with the sponsor, business, IT and vendors. The scope and the open decisions are put in writing.

  2. Plan and risks

One plan with milestones and dependencies. The main risks named, with an owner for each.

  3. First report

A short, factual status for the sponsor and the steering committee: where the project stands and what it needs.

  4. Rhythm

Fixed team meetings and regular reporting to the steering committee. No surprises that arrive too late.

Mini-case: e-mail routing migration

At a Belgian life insurer a Teasetab project manager led the migration of e-mail routing to a new platform. Customer and broker e-mails had to keep reaching the right teams throughout the transition.

Result: migration completed without interrupting customer service. References are available in a conversation.

Frequently asked questions

How does the day rate work?

Teasetab works with a day rate agreed up front, depending on role and seniority. You pay for days worked, with transparent timesheets. Directly or through your broker.

How long does an assignment last?

The duration follows from the scope, not the other way round. A defined scope is put in writing up front, followed by regular evaluation with the sponsor. Stopping or extending is decided on results.

On site or hybrid?

Both. The project manager works in Belgium, at your office or hybrid. You agree the balance with Teasetab up front, depending on your team and the phase of the project.

What if the consultant drops out or is not a fit?

Replacement happens only with your agreement. Teasetab then finds a consultant from the network with the same profile and takes care of the handover. If it is not a fit, we say so honestly.
