For insurers

Project management and analysis for insurers in Belgium.

Teasetab has worked in projects at Belgian insurers since 2014: life insurance, self-service, migrations and delivery planning across several workstreams. A Teasetab consultant knows the policy system, the broker and the steering committee before the start. Nothing gets explained twice.

Themes where Teasetab places consultants

From policy administration to steering committee: the topics on the agenda of a Belgian insurer.

Life, non-life and pensions

Projects across the three lines: new products, process renewal and changes to policy administration. With project managers and analysts who already know the vocabulary of policy and claims.

Self-service for customers and brokers

Consulting and changing policies online, integrated with the existing policy system. At a Belgian life insurer, Teasetab took such a self-service live in successive releases.

Policy and claims systems

Functional analysis, requirements and business acceptance when core systems are renewed or extended.

Legacy migrations

Migrations without interrupting customer service, such as moving e-mail routing to a new platform at a Belgian life insurer.

Regulation as project context

IDD, DORA and GDPR shape the scope and planning of many programmes. Teasetab gives no compliance advice, but places project managers and analysts who scope, plan and deliver such a programme.

Delivery planning and PMO

One integrated plan and report across several workstreams, with presentations for management and the steering committee.

Who your consultant works with

An insurance project always touches more than one department. A Teasetab consultant knows the roles at the table.

  • IT: architecture, development teams and external vendors of policy or claims systems.
  • Operations: policy administration, claims handling and customer service.
  • Distribution: brokers, own branches and digital channels.
  • Risk, compliance and legal as stakeholders in the project.
  • Management and the steering committee, who want to decide on facts.

How an assignment at an insurer runs

It starts with a conversation with a Teasetab consultant about context, role and budget. If it is not a fit, we say so immediately. If it is, you receive a proposal with profile, scope, day rate and start date.

The consultant in that proposal is the consultant on the floor. That consultant first maps stakeholders, documentation and planning, and reports regularly to the client. Stopping or extending is decided on results.

If the consultant comes from the network, we run the intake and the selection ourselves and your point of contact at Teasetab stays the same. Replacement only with your agreement.

Frequently asked questions

Which roles does Teasetab place at insurers?

Project managers, business and functional analysts, delivery leads or PMO and change managers. Often combined, for example project manager and functional analyst in one person.

Does Teasetab advise on IDD, DORA or GDPR?

No. Teasetab is not a compliance adviser. Teasetab does place project managers and analysts who scope, plan and deliver a regulatory programme, together with your own compliance and legal teams.

On site or hybrid?

Both, in Belgium. The split is agreed up front in the proposal.

Can the assignment run through a broker or a framework contract?

Yes. Directly with Teasetab BV or through an intermediary, without exclusivity. The agreements on scope, day rate and replacement stay the same.

How does Teasetab handle confidential information?

A consultant follows the insurer's access rules and confidentiality agreements. Teasetab never names a client without written consent.
